The Hyperion

Sculpt, texturing, paintover, graphic design
— DATE
Summer 2025
The Hyperion is a Titan class destroyer, the most formidable type in the Earth Space Navy. Its primary role is to deliver devastating firepower to the capital ships of galactic rivals. This is achieved with a massive pirion accelerator that forms the core of the ship, fed directly by the aft-mounted hypermatter reactor.
The Titan class’s giant ion drives enable them to quickly intercept threats to our territory in local star systems. The type is expected to form the backbone of the ESN fleet to 2740 and beyond, providing a potent deterrent to incursions by rival empires.
The design was sculpted and retopologised in 3D Coat, then textured using generative AI app Stable Projectorz, with subsequent clean-up in Substance Painter. Rendered in Blender with paintover and poster layout in Photoshop. Exhibited as a 3m wide print.

Summer 2024
The Revenant is a Type 43 heavy cruiser operated by the Imperium. Equipped with class 10 quantum flux drives, it transports materiel across the galaxy at speeds equivalent to hundreds of times the speed of light.
Charged with delivering the Imperium’s highest value assets to the furthest reaches of the frontier, they are built for any eventuality. The outer hulls are constructed from 3m thick tritanium, whilst an advanced sensor network scans multidimensional space to 100AU.
The design was sculpted, retopologised and textured in 3D Coat, then brought into Blender for rendering with EEVEE. The paintover and poster layout was done in Photoshop, with the blueprint graphic made in Illustrator. Exhibited as an A0 print.

Batmobile Redesign
— ROLE
Design / 3D modelling
— DATE
2020
Batmobile design that attempts to combine the angular, tactical look of the Dark Knight trilogy’s Tumbler with the long, sleek look of the car from Tim Burton’s 1989 film. A fast moving tank, a steel plate rises to protect the turbine when the vehicle is being used as a battering ram; secondary inlets nearby keep the air flowing.
The basic design were sculpted in 3DCoat, then retopologised and brought into Blender for refinement with HardOps and DECALmachine. Images rendered in real time using EEVEE.
